The Central Board of Secondary Education is going to conduct the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 10th July to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the post of Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges on behalf of UGC. CBSE is all set to conduct NET across the country. For the examination, CBSE UGC NET Admit Card 2016 will be published at least a week before the examination. Therefore, it is likely that the hall ticket will be available from the third week of June.

CBSE UGC NET Exam Pattern 2016
There will be three papers in total. Paper I will be held from 9:30am to 10:45am. There will be 60 questions out of which 50 needs to be answered (100 marks). Paper II will be held from 11:15am to 12:30pm. Section II will contain 50 questions with 100 marks with all questions need to be answered. Paper III will take place from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. There will be 75 questions. Full mark of section III will be 150.
CBSE UGC NET July 2016 Result and Cut Off Marks
Result of the test will be published on the website of CBSE. Only those who will secure minimum mark or higher will be eligible to apply for teaching posts. The competitors are required to acquire minimum cut off marks in every paper independently. Least Cut off Marks of paper 1 and 2 for General candidates is 40% minimum percentage for OBC/SC/ST applicants for paper 1 and 2 is 35%. Cut off bar for General contender for paper 3 is 50% while SC/ST candidates need to obtain 40%.
